Happy Malaysia National Day!

And we had a happy day too!

We set off to KLCC after Ziqian's morning nap. All thanks to Dear's GPS, we can go almost anyway in KL without much problem!

Our 1st stop is Pavilion, a very modern and high-end shopping mall. I find it very similar to Singapore shopping centre as i can find Food Republic Foodcourt and Aussino here :)

Then we went to Sungei Wang and Lot 10, which i don't really enjoy shopping there due to their retail characteristic and selections.

I am sure he enjoys shopping as much as mummy! :p

The weather was good when we back home, so we brought Ziqian downstair for a swim. Look how happy he was! He enjoys swimming more and more!

My swollen lip

Just now when i settled Ziqian for bed, he kept struggled fiercely and bumped his head on my mouth!

My upper lip bleed and swollen... He is getting very active and violent nowadays, the usual boy's rowdy acts seems to kick in...

He hates long sleeve shirts

It is proven. I had tried 3 different long sleeve shirt on him and he has the same reaction for all :)

Things he does...

Just some updates on the things he likes to explore and do nowadays :

- stands up with support in his cot, playpen, play yard, my bed and even in his Combi chair!
- cruise along his cot, playpen & play yard
- pick up toys from his play yard, stands up and throw the toys out from it, then looking at me seems like telling me "hey, go and pick it up for me!" aarrgghh...
- open his arms & eyes wide and jumps on his butt when he wants me to carry (he is rather clingy towards me recently, maybe separation anxiety has kick in)
- loves pictures flashcards

First Day @ KL

A very busy but fruitful day! Let me recall the things we done today... :

1) Julia Gabriel

We visited JG @ KL this morning for their Playnest preview. Dear and me are very impressed with its environment! Together with Chiltern House, they are housed in a beautiful bungalow. Compared to JG @ Forum, it is much more spacious with big garden, and the classrooms are bigger too. Very clean and cosy environment. And whats more, there are security men stationed at the front of the bungalow too! Generally, the programme are same as Singapore and some of their teachers are from Singapore as well. We decided to enrol Ziqian into their Playnest, hope he will have a good time in his new school! :)

2) IKEA

Bought lots of stuff at IKEA, mostly baby essentials! And of course, we ate the ever famous chicken wings & meatball, the prices are cheaper than Singapore. Hee. Oh ya, we bought a blue colour baby feeding highchair! Other than the normal beige colour one, KL IKEA has blue and red colour also, nice! :) Wonder why S'pore IKEA only has beige colour one.... hmm..

I love this colourful chair, Ziqian "test-sit" on it. But mummy not buying hor... hee...

3) Cold Storage

The usual weekly marketing, buying baby's food for the week. I notice the selection and variety here are better than Singapore CS, but prices are not so attractive though, some items are much more expensive (one Hass avocado here costs RM$5.7o! Gosh so expensive but i still bought loh...). I found Holle Cereal over here, quite surprised coz it was not available in leading supermarkets at Singapore. I bought the exactly same millet porridge at Singapore for s$10.70 but here selling at RM$15.5o, much more cheaper so i faster grabbed one! :p

4) Dinner @ Penang delicacies restaurant

We had Penang Laksa & Penang Tomyam fried bee hoon. Yummy! As for drinks, we had Soya Chendol & Bandung Chendol, yum yum too!

I miss home...

After all the packings and relocation arrangement, we finally lugged all our luggages and head to Kuala Lumpur.

I couldn't believe that the 1st thing i do when i reach is crying.... I miss my own house and my parents badly... I couldn't stop crying when i called my mum over the phone...

Though the new place is quite a cosy and nice one, with beautiful pool view, but nothing beats my own nest, the home that Dear and me have been staying for 3 years and designed the renovation ourself from scratch...

I miss my mum very very badly... Though im not far from home but the thought of not able to see her so frequent always make me teary...

I guess i still need some time to adjust to my new lifestyle...

But due to hubby's work relocation, we have to move to KL so Ziqian has to stop his JG class here even before the term end. I enjoy the class so far and i certainly hope Ziqian enjoys as much also. Thanks Sreyh & other teachers for making the class always so fun & happy! I think Ziqian will miss all the songs (whats in the magic box, bye bye bubble, good morning & hello...), miss the fun toys over there, miss his friends there especially his little girlfriend Yining... :p

"Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see?"

I was playing with Ziqian as usual in his play yard and i asked him "Ziqian, where is your Brown Bear Brown Bear?" He seemed to listen and digest of what im requesting and started to look around... Then he crawled towards the other end of the play yard and grabbed the Brown Bear book!

I was so happy! Glad that my everyday talking & reading to him not wasted after all... :)

But FUN!

Ziqian painted a crocodile with bubble wrap, it was so fun and he really enjoyed it tremendously!

Because he not only painted on his drawing, but on his face as well, and he even attempted to add colours on his friend's face! Lucky i stopped him in time :p

Teacher commented that he is a listener coz he always so engrossed in people conversation and story telling time... Not sure whose traits he got this from, coz both Dear and me are not listener at all! :p

Potty Poo Poo

His 1st Potty from Safety First!


It is so cute that it comes with music/ songs function to encourage baby to poo (luckily the music can be turned off also :p), lovely blinking stars, and also sticker rewards when baby poo!

Knowing his poo timing well so i tried him on this for a few morning, and he poo poo in it this morning! I was so happy! Not sure whether was it coincidence or what but i was so excited when i saw his poo poo in the potty! Haa.. Crazy mama :p

But i did not do a really goof job to sit him properly on the potty so his "output" stained on the rim of the seat... quite a messy job done :p

Well done Ziqian! You are such a clever boy! Mama loves you so much! Muacks! :)

GoGo Bambini + Ben & Jerry

A fun day out!

First, we went to the GoGo Bambini @ Dempsey Road. Free admission for babies under 2 year old (promotion will end on 31.08.08, so mummies hurry up and bring your little ones there!) :)

There are 2 play areas, the bigger & more comprehensive one is meant for toddlers and the smaller playground is more for babies under 2 year old. The moment i put Ziqian down on the playmat, he was busy crawling around, trying to touch all the things and trying to find supports to pull himself up to standing! And he also busy looking and staring at other babies & kids till i was abit paisei.. hee..

Bruise on cheek

I was playing the "chasing game" with Ziqian this morning on his play yard. He was so excited and crawled so fast that he lost balance and hit on a brick toy. He cried till so pitifully and didn't allow me to massage his face, i believed it must be very painful...

Saw the bruise on his right cheek?

I am so heartpain...
