Back to Beijing

After 2 weeks holiday at Msia/ Singapore. How i miss home now, miss ma & pa so much... I hope they will be able to visit us here this October, as next CNY is too long wait for me...

Back Home!

Back to the hot & humid home. But i miss it so much... So glad that i back to the warm nest. Though this time round the stay will be a short one, from 15 May to 29 May. But i will treasure every moment while im here. Look forward to An An's 1st birthday celebration on 23 May! :)

Zq is on holiday mood, very sociable and play with his cousin Dericia at once. He is more well-versed now and able to communicate better with all of them. And they commented that he looked and talked like a china boy! He is especially attached to my mama, keep saying 婆婆您在干吗啊？Follow her everywhere and "helping" her to do chores. It's really heart-warming to see these...

As for An An, he is still very much shy. Reluctant to let anyone elseto carry except Ben and me. Even a longer eye contact with him will make him cry! Cling on me like a teddy bear.. I hope he will start to warm up and interact more with the old folks, coz they so yearn to hug and cuddle him also!

I am sick. Again.

Just seen a GP in Beijing Family United Hospital, Dr Andrew Perett and he is good. He diagnosed me as having a seasonal flu. Though fever gone but the coughing and body aching is killing me. As what i expected, no "potent" medicine is precribed as i am still breastfeeding. He said the best medicine for me is REST. But with a cranky and clingy baby, how to?

I realised this is the 4th time i fall sick since Year 2010. This is really no good, it seems that my immunity is getting lower and it takes longer each time to recover from it. Doc mentioned that i "overwork" and need more rest even when i busy taking care of kids. But i think it's rather difficult for me as both boys needs my constant attention, they are not that close to ayi and i prefer hands-on for everything also. Whenever i fall sick, i miss my mama so much, if she is staying nearby she will surely help me out immediately. Mama's love is the greatest, isn't it?

An An is also down with fever and cough because of viral infection. Poor boy, he has been eating lesser and very fussy. I bet he must be feeling very uncomfortable just like what i am going through now.

However, i learn something new today. Coughing it out is actually good as it's a defensive reaction instead of sickness. And the period that coughing most likely to spread to other is when few days before the symptoms of coughing start and last through the fever. It generally would not spread to others if had recovered from fever, as coughing tends to lingering a while more. I am more assured to hear this as we will be going back to home next Friday, certainly do not wish to bring the virus oversea to my parents! Pray hard that we recover fast as An An's birthday is coming and holiday is awaiting!

A visit to Denise & WK's apartment

We have friends from Singapore here at Beijing! Hurray!

Denise & family has relocated here since mid-April. We are neighbours back at Singapore. And now we are living not far from each other also at Beijing.

Zq and me made some cornflake cookies for them.

Kyla is a very adorable and friendly girl. She shared her toys with the boys and she enjoyed being the "tour-guide" to show us around the house.

Kyla & Zq had lots of fun playing the drums, painting, decorating muffin, jumping trampoline and watching hi-five! Too bad Lezane didi was napping all the while. Zq had so much fun that he reluctant to leave when dinner time, and he made quite a scene there which made me so angry with him. He's getting more rebellious and out of hand these days. I must think of ways to discipline him better.

An An too young to join in the elder kids' acitivities but he is busy self-entertain with lots of toys!

More playdates to come! :)
