Bad habits

I noticed 2 bad habits of Ziqian today:

1) he starts to lick clenched fist, he seems to really enjoy his "ice-cream" or "drumstick"
2) he likes to knock his head real hard with his fists

wonder how to keep his hands off from his mouth and head.. hmm...

"Cow" @ Centrepoint

Went to Robinson's most wanted (or most crowded?) sale today wi dear, my mum and ziqian. Seems like most of the ppl took leave and all geared up for this sale, saw many ladies wi super packed shopping bag, must be effect of year-end bonus! :)

We shopped from 11am till 3pm, hence i gonna express my milk there... My 1st time, expressed milk out at shopping centre. Actually quite disappointed wi Centrepoint, there's a proper nursing room in such a huge shopping centre. So no choice, i expressed my milk at the baby diaper changing room inside Robinson. It was sp crampy with only 1 super small chair... Ziqian was lucky to drink the "fresh from breast" milk...haa! coz usually he gonna drink the EBM in fridge... :p

Swiss cottage @ vivo

Dear took a day off today and we decided to bring baby to Vivocity.. hurray! Xiao yi joined us as well :)

Ziqian is very fortunate coz daddy and mummy bought him lots of BabyGap clothings and also some toys from Toy R Us. Being a mother had really changed me, i didn't believe in impulse shopping and never been such spendthrift before, but i just cant stop myself from buying those cutie and lovely stuff for my boy... :p

We had lunch at Marche, finally get to salvage on the long-miss Rosti and crepe... Which reminds me Dear and my back-pack trip to Swiss last year... Wonder will we still have the chance to go back-packing again..

Really enjoyed myself today ... It was a such a great break from home... :)

Baby's 8th week...

Ziqian, you are getting more and more chubby and adorable each day... Mummy cant resist to kiss your "hamburger" everyday! :)

What's the time now?!

4am! Dear and me got a shock that ziqian missed his 2am feed... He decided to have only 1 midnight feed after his 10pm+ previous feed...

He is such a thoughtful boy, Dear must be feeling very grateful coz starting from today, he only has to wake up once and not twice for baby's midnight feeds, as i always sleep through the nights... :p

Thanks dear for your sweetness, despite you still have to work the next day, but you never fail to be a good daddy! I really appreciate that.. I love you more and more Dear.. Muacks! :)

Baby's 7th week...

1st oversea trip to...

外公外婆家 at JB, Malaysia.

Ah ma was very nice to give Ziqian an angbao on his 1st visit, coz ah ma said it's for good luck :) Angbao is BIG, the money inside is BIG as well... thanks ah ma!

I bet Ziqian is a greedy little boy, he grabbed the angbao when my mum gave it to him! Clever boy... hee..

Ah ma held ziqian's little hand and had a nap together... so sweet... :)

Cry baby... again..

This is the 2nd meet-up of Ziqian and Doc Ang (my gynae, the man who delivered Ziqian) :) We brought baby to doc's clinic for my pap smear test. Their 1st meet-up was when Ziqian borned, same like this time, baby crying out loud.. hee..

Bye bye my "gloves"

Officially off mittens today! Ziqian can start learning grabbing things, but it also means that i have to cut & trim his fingernails diligently... :)

Push up!

Yes! we gonna start training Ziqian for his national service in another 20yrs... haa :p Look at the miserable face... :)

Baby's 6th week...

Injection

Early in the morning after Ziqian had his 1st feed of milk, we set off to the GP for his 1st 6-in-1 and pneumococcal injection. I find that the GP (Dr. Helena Wong) was good, she was very patient, understand more about baby, explained and schedule all the injections baby has to take from birth till 1 yr old. So we have a better idea of all these and know that baby is in good hand :)

The 2 injections were done on his left and right front thighs... But to my surprise, Ziqian only whimpered softly and didn't really cry out loud, what a brave boy! (very unlike mummy in this aspect... hee) :p Of course, pacifier still works wonder here... He happily suckling and even gave papa a sweet sweet smile when mummy made the payment.. :)

Passport

Ziqian collected his 1st passport today. The queue was super long at ICA, but luckily he was guai guai throughout the wait... Yes! Papa and mama can bring you back to grandparent's house @ JB! :)

He was in good mood for photoshooting as well, think he knows that he's going oversea soon.. hee... :

Baby's 5th week...

Cant get my eyes off of u...

Noticed that Ziqian looked at the musical mobile on his cot intensively... Actually it has been there all the while when he was borned, guessed he was too young then to enjoy it... I'm so glad that he starts to show interest in it, which means the money spent on it is worthy! hee...

First smile... :)

Finally! Ziqian smiled to me... such a heart-warming smile after i changed his diaper and played with him on his cot... how i wish i can capture that moment with camera... But it's alright, that sweet lovely smile will be remembered forever... Ziqian, mummy loves you! :)

Baby's 4th week...

Cakes & Cards

70 boxes of zi qian's full-month cakes & photocards to be distributed today! Thanks to Sweetest Moments for the lovely cakes & packaging... We are impressed by their services and quality. Highly recommended!!! :)

Botak-Head

We always want to do a taimaobi for our dear baby as we want to have this memorable gift for him on his 21st birthday, the day that marks the beginning of his adulthood :)

But it was a mix feeling for me suddenly, staring at zi qian's beautiful hair, i was contemplating whether to shave his hair. I even told Dear to call the person and cancel the appointment. But he assured me that zi qian will still have lovely hair in future, and this will be a meaningful gift to baby. Set! We will just go ahead with it :)

We chose the hairbrush that made of 黑檀香木 with the meaning of knowledgeable man, we love this as zi qian was "made-in-hangzhou", an artistic and beautiful places that well-known for scholars. We also have the full-engraving of dragon on it coz it really looks impressive.

Full month celebration

My dear bao bei had finally turned one month old! :) Buffet lunch was held at home and we invited around 60 guests to share our joy... Many commented that baby has bushy hair, and has a mixture look of daddy and mummy... Baby was very tired i guess, coz he slept throughout the celebration, many aunties uncles wana carried him but didn't have the chance to do so.. :p We had Neo Garden Catering and the food was good, esp the curry chicken.. yummy!

daddy's workplace - Changi Airport. My sis and family leaving for Australia today, so all of us woke up early in the morning to bid them farewell in airport... Feeling sad that we have to separate again, esp my mum... she was holding back her tears so hard... Hope they will back to S'pore real soon... Both little piglets will be reunited again...
