Bukit Tinggi - Colemar Tropicale, Japanese Village & Botanical Gdn (Part 1)

Rather disappointed with the last weekend trip to Fraser's Hill, so we decided to go for another short getaway this weekend to Bukit Tinggi!

It was a 45 mins drive from our KL's place and the journey was smooth, no extremely winding uphill road and the weather was good too.

We checked in to our hotel room - a one bedroom suite at Colemar Tropicale once we reached. The hotel room was spacious and clean, most importantly it furnished with a fridge (a decent size one with freezer) and not those super-duper mini fridge... So i have a decent space to store all the meats and vegetables i brought for the preparation of Zq's meals :)

Some photos of our hotel's room:

We went for lunch and walked around at the Colemar Tropicale square. The weather is not as cold as what i thought but generally it was cooling and windy... It was indeed a french-themed resort, from the building design to the cuisines of the restaurants, a relaxing and nice holiday venue for family especially those with young children... And guess what, Zq met a clown here and he made a "sword" balloon for him! He was not that excited afterall, maybe was a little shocked to see such a colourfully painted face!
After which, we set off to the Japanese Village and Botanical Garden which were just a few mins drive away from the Colemar Tropicale.

We were captivated by the Japanese Village, it was very beautiful with lovely traditional huts, teahouse, koi ponds and landscape! I wanted to rent the Japanese costume for Zq and me (only RM20 per person), but such a pity they didn't have such a mini size costume for my small baby :( Zq enjoyed lots here, all because of the koi fishes! He get excited to see them swimming in the pond and kept saying "oo oo oo..." hee, so cute lah! :p

Then we moved on to the Botanical Garden, it was constructed on a steep hill so we had to go down many many steps along the way and sure super tiring for all of us! But Zq had fun exploring around, plucking flowers and leaves, stamping on grasses... which he not suppose to do so :p
