Vaccines

Zq just had his last dose of Pneumococcal and Chicken Pox vaccines this morning.

Doc said these 2 vaccines are the more painful one as they supposed to be injected just beneath the skin. He yelled and cried so loud when the injections were done but recovered from shock very soon too.. I expected a super dramatic reaction from him coz it was his morning nap and he had to skip that for this vaccines.. Poor boy...

And he had a row of appointment dates all lined up for the coming months for all the optional vaccines:
Dec - Hep A 1st dose
Jan - Flu vaccine
May - 5-in-1 booster
June - Hep A 2nd dose

Im now looking at the options of egg-free vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella coz of Zq's egg allergy. However, this means 3 separate vaccines rather than the 1 combined one, which means more pain for him.. Shall give a serious thought on this...
