Fraser's Hill

We wanted to go for weekend getaways somewhere near KL since Dear was posted here. So among the few locations we shortlisted, we decided to go Fraser's Hill, a colonial-era hill station in Pahang state as our first venture.

But we were rather disappointed with the trip as 2 of the activities that we look forward most were closed for upgrading... We missed the pony riding and the boating which i thought would be the highlight of the trip and Zq would definately enjoy it, so sad they were closed....

We stayed at the Ye Olde Smokehouse, a Tudor-style house with great breakfast and dinner served. We went to the Jeriau Waterfalls and some of the children parks. Not much activities and we just lazed around in the hotel, enjoyed the cool weather and Zq had fun on the hotel bed as usual :p
Overall, it was not a very pleasant holiday as Dear was not feeling well and Zq got some "love-bites" from mosquitoes. His ears now so red and big and some resemblance with his best friend - Mickey.. Really hope all his red bumps recover soon...

At Jeriau Waterfall:

In the hotel and our room...

Zq was not happy with only a bun served to him on our candle-light dinner.. Haa!

Us on a breezy mountain top...
